hmm i dunno where the problem specifcly but the final cutscene in .hack//gu vol 3 stopped working in some part with no error, apparently disable sound and switch the emulation mode to software helped
i usually use svn(r2426 right now) but i also tried in r1888

its happens in 4.30
btw the game worked fine and the only problem i have encounter beside that was in some other cutscene which could easily be skipped

here's a screenshot
is this a gsdx thing cuz this also happens on wild arms alter code f too although
99% cpu usage in GSdx, looks like your card is just not fast enough... besides of ticking the "native" checkbox and disabling/enabling "allow 8-bit textures" there might not be much more you can do...
Actually maybe using a (software) renderer instead of hardware one might help more there (if you're using software already try hardware).
yup software does speed it up a bit where 24-25 fps became 30-33 fps still slow though and that screenshot was already in native res in hardware mode DX10 oh well Ive been wonderin about that well looks like I need to save up money again do u think a 9600gso 768MB will be enough to fix it cuz that's the only thing I could afford cuz anything better than that is too expensive
The 9600gso is probably fast enough for native resolution.
Oh. Please use punctuation and uppercase letters next time.
Edit:
Oh, just saw that the 9600GSO has limited pixel and memory fillrate.
So it might not be faster after all :/
should get an ati Radeon 4670 instead and is ATI cards gonna perform similarly to nvidia on PCSX2
by the way are the messed up shadows in Dragon Quest 8 and Rogue Galaxy related to GSDX? They don't seem to work properly even in software mode
Yeah, they are.
I have no idea though what's the problem with those.
(A guess: They use the "destination alpha" feature, something very hard to do in HW rendering.)
my pc specs are
intel core 2 quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHZ 2.39GHZ
3.00 GB RAM
ATI RADEON HD 2400 PRO
windows vista 32 bit
will it run smoothly in my pc?

2.4 Ghz isn't relly going to give you smooth results... But you seriously should do some overclocking. It's a crime to run that cpu on it's rated speed... I recommend you to study a bit in the subject.
You videocard isn't too strong either, it will run the games though. The question is , at what resolution...
