can ne1 tell me the latest version of Gsdx since the link in front page is not working
also can ne1 give me an advice that which version will be suitable for smoother gaming on my pc
my system specs are
intel core 2 duo E8400 3.00 Ghz
8gb ram
graphic card nvidia 9400gt
windows 7 ultimate 32 bit

hi guys in Valkyrie Profile 2 but in jungle mission scren is red for what? help plz
Just use software renderer to past that part, it's not that long and you shouldn't find it much later (I think you get the same problem just once later in the game).
I've played that mission on the console, and that section is pretty red to begin with. I don't know specifically that problem. To the previous poster, compile your own, http://code.google.com/p/pcsx2/wiki/Comp...ForWindows real easy to do lol. I think i have revision 2430m as a result of doing that on 2/2/10. So its up to you. Or you could use the december 31 plugin pack.

Anybody else noticed how the NEW version of the internal res upscaler doesn't work with some games anyomre?

Initially when the scaler was implanted, it worked well with all games, removig all the offset problems.
Then, at the point of r2422, ramapcsx2 posted
"GSdx: - Converted an upscale hack to the format I plan to use from now on. (Also makes this hack work better Tongue2)"

And with that, the offset problems completely came back for SOME games, for example shadow of the colossus. They worked perfectly before, but all the gsdx versions from above r2422 produced the offset problems again, no matter how the scaler is used.
Yep, that's where I left it off. The old hack was intrusive, it changed how all games looked, even the ok ones.
This new version targets the particular issue (half pixel offset for the blur layer).
I plan to tidy it all up, and add options in the config for it one day.
At that point I could offer the old hack as well. We'll see Tongue2

A little question about the D3D internal resolution:

Why do people chose a resolution with for example 1024x1024 (a x a)? Isn't it better to use sth equal to 16:9 or 4:3 (like 1920x1080 or 1280x1024), or is it just me not geting sth here?
Personal preference, it'll be stretched to match the monitor/aspect ratio resolution anyway so choosing a different resolution than your monitor may not make a difference except for the slight AA/blur like effect it makes, and choosing the exact resolution of your monitor should be the best for sharpness.

512/1024/2048/4096 are power of 2 resolutions and well it shouldn't make a difference really for this, except I suppose some older card would work better with it.

The way GSdx scales the resolution makes some extra glitches so exact multiples of the internal resolution is probaby best but games have a different internal resolution so it'd be difficult to maintain, newer GSdx has scaling options as well (2x/3x/4x internal resolution) for easier use.

Internal res and DX10 version fix it, but have other issues, I've written one earlier.
