Sounds like the issue only some people are getting. I forgot what triggered it though.
Try fiddling with the 8bit textures option.

I disabled 8bit texture but it was still there. Well now it dosen't matter I just use the official 1.0.0 build of PCSX2 and everything is fine Happy
Well, we still have to fix the problem so knowing what causes it would help.

Hi, this is a followup to my earlier bug report on Spider-man 2 being buggy in D3D mode, apologies for the very late reply, I thought I'd set up notifications for this thread but guess I didn't Smile Ok, so I did not use any speedhacks or game fixes, only switched between hardware and software renderer in GSdx, everything else is vanilla. Please let me know if any more information is needed, will be monitoring this thread again!
firstly can you try the latest SVN, there was a couple of minor bugs in the 1.0.0 release. Id be curious to if the most recent one fixes it. If switching to software mode does not fix the problem, it is most likely the main program at fault rather than gsdx.

I'll try with the SVN, but switching to software mode does resolve the issue, as mentioned in my earlier bug report. I had reported the error as happening only with hardware acceleration, mostly missing and/or corrupted textures, none of which happen in software mode. I was wondering about one thing: is the greater accuracy of software mode a result of the multiple processors of the PS2 and the difficulty implementing it using the limitations of the DirectX API?

I've got another bug to report but as I do not have access to my high spec computer right now, will be posting dumps later on:

Game: Splinter Cell Double Agent
Bugs (hardware mode only, runs perfectly in software mode): the heat vision does not show the heat highlights (red/blue/etc) and magnetic vision is not showing world objects (just a blue hue). The lighting is also missing many of the HDR-like effects (sun bloom in the first level, highlights on the walls), quite minor but more noticeable when using night vision.

Thanks again for all the help, PCSX2 is a huge project and what you people have pulled off is amazing! Emulation is the only guaranteed way of preserving these games for the future and without your efforts we'd be losing out on a lot of awesomeness Smile
There are still the same Problems with MONOPOLY and TRIVIAL PURSUIT .

Tried enable some Hacks but doesnt make any difference . Is this a easy fixable Problem or is there more investigating needed ?!?

Keep up the good Work Smile
hi guys i've got an i7 3.4ghz quad and ati hd7950 overclocked card, i'm using directx11 and was wondering if MSAA is safe to use and which settings? also is it OK to use CFF explorer to enable 'App can handle >4gb" ?
Is there any plugins for sse4.2 and avx ? if yes then reply a link to download the plugins and tell me what is the difference between sse4.1, sse4.2 and avx.
I have Windows 8 Pro Operating System with intel core i7 2600 3.4Ghz processor, 4GB RAM, AMD/ATI Radeon HD 5450 2GB Graphic Card, SONY PS3 SIXAXIS Controller.
the AVX plugin comes with the emulator, release or SVN.
