Could it be possible to have multiple hardware presets?
Like F9 changes from hardware mode to software, i was wondering if it was possible to have 2 hardware mode presets so i could change between em. For example F10 changes between your hardware modes/presets (1 has native and the other has x3 native). This would fix 100% of my problems and even remove software mode completely (for me).
Is it possible to enter a negative value for the Texture Coordinate Offset hack? I have an issue with Mana Khemia 2 where using an increased resolution causes graphical glitches around the edges of images.
A TC Offset Y-coordinate hack of 500 fixes the problems below images, but not the ones to the right of images; while raising the X-coordinate makes that issue worse, rather than better. It looks as if I need to enter an X-coordinate offset of -500 to fix the problem, but the GUI won't let me and resets it to zero when I try.
You might change it in the Gsdx.ini file, but TC offset X and Y only modify one value that is simply TC offset. So i'm not sure the amount. Setting both to 500 makes the value 32768500 so maybe try -32768500? That may - both of them though, not sure.
So 8 bit textures can be used with AF or no?
Because 8 bits textures might fix some texts in some games.
Ps.: I was out for a while
No, you cannot use 8-bit textures with AF
As hellbringer stated above, you can't used 8-bit textures with AF. It seems to be a hardware limitation. I can't do anything about it unfortunately.
In ace combat 5 and belkan war whenever you try to shift from the native resolution, black vertical lines appear on the screen.. (

I always thought I needed to found
that nice
resolution which is the "common denominator" of others...
But.. today while I was trying to find that.. game seemed gone crazy
FMVs/live cut-scenes worked without problems even with 4x scaling..
Then, while actually playing, I found 1008x1008 was working for example (even though radar was a little strange..).. And lower or higher resolution weren't working
In the menu instead, 1270x1270 was going well.. then after some time (I tried some other resolution) it stopped working and lines were showing..
Any suggestion?
"We couldn't ever fix this" or "this bug would require a complete rewrite of the graphic stack to be fixed" claims are welcome too
thank you
I can't get the Hacks section to show up in the configuration panel for GSdx. I've added AllowHacks=1 to the .ini (there was no Allowhacks line there originally) and even copied an entire .ini file from someone with the hacks enabled and configurable, but the options just will not show up for me.
With AllowHacks=1 in my .ini file, this is what I get
I'm trying to enable the Alpha Hack for Jak and Daxter. I have tried adding the UserHacks_AlphaHack=1 line to the .ini as well, both alone and alongside AllowHacks=1 just to see if it would toggle without actually showing, with no luck.
those hacks are only available in hardwaremode, as far as I know and you can activate them by pressing on the "Configure..." button, which becomes available as soon as you use hardwaremode
HW=hardware.
if you are using software mode, you can't use hacks.
