then how can you say this

if you have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about ?
It's something he enjoys, going around emulator projects and telling everyone how easy it is to do the stuff he wants to get done, while having absolutely no clue if the ***** he's talking about is even possible.
In short, he's a troll so stop feeding it

Well for which project I said its easy to implement some features I admit I made some features requests if you are talking about this but never claimed they are easy to implement. Its little rude calling me troll just because I asked about it. Besides according to refraction its possible just code is complex so its not absolutely impossible.
I think it's the way you talk about it that makes it sounds like it's easy. It's okay if you are a competent programmer, but in that case you might as well implement it yourself.
Anyway, I also wonder why GSDX only allows upscaling on PSX mode? Does anybody know about this?

Gabest implemented this option in PSX mode but he didnt implement it in PS2 software mode most likely because cpus were to slow back then for this anyway but they are far faster now. Main reason I asked for this feature is that hardware mode is very buggy.

I have some reason to believe CPUs are still too slow for 2x resolution on software mode sadly. Got my first frame drop on native resolution software mode just today and my CPU is an i5 model first released in 2013. Maybe with a new i7 someone could handle it with some lag since SW mode allows many rendering threads?
What a lot of people don't consider is 2x rendering is actually 4x the pixels, since you are doubling both horizontal and vertical. 3x has 9x the pixels. So I really think anything beyond 2x is not gonna happen with a software renderer, based on my limited understanding of it. Even 2x would be a major stress.
2x would be a huge improvement though
