Do we actually need tc offset if this hack works? Where else is tc offset needed?
Xenosage 2 hair issues need this, it can be used in VP2 to help with the bluring, double image issue, there are other uses too, there just not well documented some people has posted usage for it on pcsx2 wiki, but the week is still way out dated
^ Just like in P3 though, in Xenosaga 2 while it fixes the hair issue it screws up other stuff(check their lips in close up for example).
Still I think TC Offset is useful until we eradicate all sprite/texture alignment problems.

honestly i dont notice the anything wrong with the lip, the hair issue on the other hand was super obvious though.
Alot the hack can be eliminated once the sprite/texture/lines alignment is fixed
For now they all got there uses even if there usage isnt well documented on the wiki
For me, the 'UserHacks_round_sprite_offset' hack wasn't as effective as the other two: it added some artifacts to the rain sprites in 'Seven' and didn't fix the battle display bug in 'Venus & Braves'...
Still testing other games...
EDIT:
'Odin sphere' 4XNative res still looking good...
'Mononoke' has artefacts on some sprites... (and on text, as before)
Snif... Could you generate some gs dump of the bad image
@blyss if it isn't include in your previous link, could you make a dump of ar tolenico battle issue.

The only thing I was still wondering is: is it normal that "lines" dimension is still not upscaled?
I mean, give a look to screenshots. Use an image viewer that resize them to fit (firefox for example does)
And notice how the more I increase resolution.. the same they left. And the less relatively small they are.
(04-07-2015, 10:39 PM)gregory Wrote: [ -> ]Yes that more or less normal. The game use a primitive of length 0. The line cross a pixel so the fragment is computed. You can upscale by a thousand, the length will remains 0 In short a line remains a line not a rectangle.
Is this issue in FFXII the same as the one described above or is it something different that could maybe be fixed with
gregory's new hacks?

Thanks for the P3 dump, I will give it a look.
I'll make a dump of the ar tonelico battle issue shortly. Just got home.
So thanks to Parotaku dump, I understand various issue that I need to fix
I need to redo it in a more clever way, I hope it won't be too costly for the perf.
