No use still Sad Guess I will have to wait a month to retry pcsx2 with my new pc config Sad
Why is it still slow -.- , playing with different specs but same graphics card.
AMD Phenomâ„¢ X2 511 3.40GHz
5gigs of ddr3 ram
your CPU is better much clock difference ( 0.7 GHz )

simple : even if you gained a few Ghz, you exchanged an old dual core for another old dual core.
Performance gain then is near 10%

I looked on this website and its quiet better

Pentium Dual-Core E5400 @ 2.70GHz 1,799

AMD Phenom II X2 511 2,073

better doesn't mean it's enough for pcsx2

a Phenom II is more powerful than E5XXX and kind of head to head with the E8XXX core to core ( unless you thought it was Phenom I )

and it's not that old only 4-5 years old compared to the E5XXX

but that something i agree with Smile
Considering intel released the i series & moore's law, 4-5 years is old for a cpu.
Provided he's still trying to run rhe games he already mentioned, this "new" cpu wont help either.
