When i try and start up a game it puts a selection screen and asks what debugger i want to use from the .NET work, please help.

Impossible!

PCSX2 might have crashed and you have selected to Debug it. Also, I don't think PCSX2 requires .NET Framework. PCSX2 Crashed probably because

1) Drivers not upto date. I mean you have quite old Drivers. (Maybe)
2) System does not meet the requirements for PCSX2 or other way round the game is heavy on PC and causes PCSX2 to crash.
3) Upto directX by donwloading the DirectX Redistributable (June 2010)
4) Update your PCSX2 : PCSX2 SVN
