HP laptops use to have.
What's about disabling several CPU cores in msconfig.exe? Just a suggestion. I don't know if it works with HT because my CPU is AMD's.

although i never tried it ( never needed ) if it got the same affect as affinity then it's useless ..... ( HT Dual core user )
