Take your original Physical God Of War DVD, and insert it in your DVD reader, then try running pcsx2 with gigahertz plugin to see if it works that way.

PAL version of GoW2 has a language selector screen before the menu. Does GoW1 not have the same?
this game REQUIRES THE BIOS TO MATCH THE GAME REGION for full boot to work.
He has the europe bios, and the german version is Pal.
So it shoud be ok ?
