Full Version: Dawn of Mana trouble with sound plugin (SPU2ghz)

I just try game dawn of mana in OS Vista. I notice that game doesnt handle music in game, only work with voice and background voice. If i change with ZeroSpu2 in first FMV after loading a new game the voice of NPC disappear from game in middle of game. Only with P.E.Op .S SPU2 1.9.0 is working with flawless. In other game like shadow heart from new world, sometimes crashed with SPU2ghz, seems like trouble with sound. I play games with onboard sound. Is that main problem with SPU2ghz??. I hope this is good info.
I just try with pcsx2 r478 and result is same in my first post, i didnt hear a music in game with sound plugin Spu2ghz and zerospu2, only peops spu 1.9 the music is working, but i set enable thread mode in option to be working or that game just hang in first FMV. i hope team or someone to take a look that game.
Is anyone doesnt care this game or i only one had this problem? This game is Dawn of Mana [NTSC] US version from SQUERENIX.
There are known problems with DMAs that make it hard for any SPU2 plugin to support all games correctly. The problems are known. The fixes will need new SPU2 plugin APIs. As such they are not easy to fix, but they are planned to be fixed. But it could be a while.
