sorry for the english first

when i play gow2 on hardware mode game it not show the the shadow but when i turn it to software mode then it show shadow and also show good graphics but it is slow
so shadows and graphics can be fixed on hardware mode?

my cpu specifications

Operating System = Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Physical RAM = 3959 MB
CPU name = Intel® Core™ i3 CPU 550 @ 3.20GHz
CPU speed = 3.191 ghz (4 logical threads)
graphic card = ATI Radeon HD 4550 (512 memory,600 mhz)

shadows have been disabled in hardware mode as they cause screen corruption, software mode is much better at post processing effects so they are left enabled.

ok ,so if i want to play games on software mode what should i need

A powerful CPU.

For now, try setting extra rendering thread to 2 or 3 and see.
