Well, my pc has the following configuration:
Video: GeForce GT430 2GB
Proc: Intel Core i5 650 3.2GHz
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

What I was wondering is if i can play God of War 1 and 2 with 720p-1080p resolution, because when I tried using 4x native and other settings, the fps dropped sharply.
Please help Smile
no, then your graphics card is weak to handle gow2 at 4x native. try 2x / 3x.
^Agreed but you can try to OC it.
What fps you get?
Is that an Lappy?
i get 60 fps, but with 2x, 3x goes to 45~50
it is not a lap
and what is OC?
Means overclocking your gpu.
But i highly doubt you'll get better with that gpu you have.
It's kinda weak
I could try, I just need to know how
can even stay in 2x
anything 35+ fps is fine for me
anything less than 55 fps (NTSC) and 45 (PAL) is not fine for me. Either I don't play it at all or play with max speedhacks and choose some settings that doesn't breaks the game and runs quite fine.
I play with every speed hack on in PCSX2 0.9.6 and get about 15 fps (with fps skip) while fighting lol extra slow, i was surprised i can at least play with PCSX2 because my PS2 keeps freezing i don't have other choice
My GT 440 struggles at 4x native in GoW2. 3x is the maximum resolution I can get. Your GT 430 is quite weak compared to mine, so stay at 2x.
