Are there any specific things I need to do to make fraps record without lagging at all? For "LoL recorder" for league of legends, it used to mess p there, but it was completely the programs fault, and they fixed it. i don't know if it is pcsx's fault or mine. anyone know?
unlike LoL, PCSX2 is cpu bound, video recording is also CPU bound. I guess if you have a quad core, you can force Fraps on to the last core, leaving the others free for PCSX2 which would help. If you are on a dual core, pushing it on the 2nd core might make it quicker if the game isnt GS heavy. Otherwise, all you can do is use a codec which doesnt require much cpu power.
