Hey guys.

So I just have a little question really, PCSX2 works fine for me and all that, but whenever I try to use a 3x native resolution, the game starts slowing down. But it works just fine on 2x native. So I'm guessing my VGA card is the problem right ? Anyway, I'm not really a pro in this so I'd like to know from you guys if it's my VGA card or not, thanks.

CPU : Intel Core i7 3770 3.40GHz Ivy Bridge
GPU : GeForce GT 620 1GB DDR3
RAM : 8 GB
Definitely GPU is the one that giving you grief.
yup, she is right that GPU sucks with a CPU like that.
I think yours is an HDMI card.
Well that sucks >_> Thanks for the answers, is the CPU atleast any good ?

The card is not bad, it's just that the CPU is way too good for it.

I Disagree, the card is pretty terrible ;p
That GPU just don't deserve to be paired with such CPU.

At least it should work well if you're the one who goes for speed over quality.
ticking the native checkbox or using 2x scaling is as good as using 3x scaling

btw the same thing happens to me when i use 3x scaling
your GPU is bottlenecking your CPU, simple why can't a few fellow member of PCSX2 forums understand this?

indeed, i recommend trying to play with the original Graphics comes with the CPU the Intel HD 4000 or something, i think that will be much better.
