if you use gsdx from 1888 - it is fine!
here is the very last gsdx build, but i would not recommend use it (cause i did not try it myself and it could be unstable or/and designed for the new gui version of PCSX2):

as far as i know, the fog is visible in the DirectX 9 mode. So, you should use DirectX 10 mode (after you install Vista/7 )

as the matter of fact, i an playing GoW 1 now without any visual problems (only one problem in the middle of the game cant get pass this bug.. waiting for the developer's reply). If you have PAL version, i suggest you try NTSC version, because PAL seems to have a lot of problems

Guyz in my problem i dont see any mpeg or.... its a strange problem:|
You cant skip peg because you dont see it , it freezez just before its supposed to begin it like between the game and cutscene , i hope you understand

Sorry for the slow speed , its caused by the speedhacks because i disabled them all

change the version of your pcsx2(if your using 1888 change it to an older one...) thats how it worked for me

Can you please tell me exactly what version because i even tried with 0.9.6 and it doesnt work its still freezing (

i think that your problem is save-state related,try another version but or try the newest version but dont continue from savestates,continue from the game save itself.

ps. if you are proud owner of GoW 1 PAL, and you are a very kind man, and you are reading this, could you please use my savegame, play through this scene and send me a savestate (right after you beat the sirens) and savegame (if savestate will not work). 1) from the savepoint go to the far-left
2) open door, push box to the left
3) blow a horn
4) skip the FMV with the patch (ask me if you have problems with that)
5) and kill a bunch of sirens.
save ..for me after the scene

Well.... i dont have gow 1,but i can tell you that your error seems very strange,beacuse i already beat that game without problems

did you beat the PAL version of God of War 1?
what version of pcdx2 did you use? did you change any advanced settings? like clamp modes, round modes in CPU page?

if you visit my report one more time you notice i found many people with the same exact problem. And i wonder if PAL version is even playable(to the end). By the way it's compatibility set to ingame, instead of playable.
