I played the grand theft auto vice city stories on my PSX2 1.1.0..
But when the loading after the save loading, the game stops working..
Same goes when the loading after the first video of new game...
I tried the USA version and the EU/AU version..
But both of them remain the same...
I used the PSX2 1.0.0 and it stays the same...
Any advice I can use??

please post the emulog.txt after a crash, please.

did you try with latest stable or latest svn ?
