If I remember correctly Core 2 Duos only go up to SSSE3 plugin for GSdx.

well i give up i think my laptop is just not capable for this stuff :/ that or i suck at this rofl.. i downloaded the last SVN but yeah i keep getting the same problem and more when i wanna pick the plugins they go gray on me.. i can configure them when i click on configure video but outside the wizard area, anyways thanks guys appreciated the help.

Your cpu is pretty weak to run anything but ffx. i don't even think you can run ffx at a decent speed.

It's speed is quite low indeed, but FFX should run, even my old AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ could run FFX quite decent and even though that's a 3 Ghz Dual Core, AMD still should be slower then Intel. I can be wrong here, but I thought you could compare the 6000+ with the C2D.
