So I have looked through some past Devil May Cry 1 posts about a black screen after the Capcom logo appears...however, in my case, the black screen is there after the Sony Entertainment start thing...
All other games I've tried work fine but just not Devil May Cry 1. I have not played Devil May Cry 2 but at least it starts up fine.
So how can I make Devil May Cry 1 playable? Please help.

Start first with what your hardware specifications are

And please post the emulog.txt after you get that black screen.

have you tried using fastboot instead of fullboot?
