hello everyone,
i cannot handle this issue.
ive just installed PCSX2 (r5350) on my pc.
my graphic chipset (G41) supports DirectX 10 (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/c...ipset.html).
but, when i try to configure the GS pluggin, i select the sse4 version (for instance), click Configure, select 'Direct3D10 Software'.
Then i press 'next', so GSdx want to update some directx libraries. then the microsoft website for downloading directx 9, install and... "Internal error. please check the DXError.log and DirectX.log files".

here is the log file:
Code:

ive also performed dxdiag which told me that ive directx 11 installed (probably with the windows 7 install).

can you please guys give me a hand?
im running out of ideas[/code]
just update DirectX 11 and DirectX 9.c (yes, that old one also).

PS: Supposing it went well and the problem persist, it may be related to the integrated card. I read about issues with Intel IGPs but I can't really help in this.

Finally, are you sure your CPU is able to run SSE4.1?
hello and thank you for your fast answer.

the thing is when i was trying to update DirectX9.0c using the windows website.
the solution was to download it seperately, and the update finally worked perfectly.

I think the problem is the use of sse4, if I recall correctly, core duo does support only till SSE3, try using it.

PS: Sorry, my head refuses to wake up, that's OK then if you got it working Smile
