I tested FPS for my PCSX2 1.1 setting by playing Guilty Gear XX AC+, disabling frame limit and opening up a program like an internet browser. Frame rate won't go below 60 so I thought the setting was perfect, but after enabling the frame limit and opening up the browser the game slows down (somewhere around 40 fps). I closed most of background programs as well.
I know it's not much of a problem but I just thought it was weird. The game also seems to slow down more frequently than a normal PS2, and I also have a good PC. I usually open systems like Skype so this may become a problem. I need to determine what's causing it.
Here are my spec and settings.
PC Spec:
Win7 Home Premium 64 bit
Intel Core i7
4G RAM
DirectX 11
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (total memory 2765MB)
Settings:
-GSDX 5464 (MSVC 16.0, SSSE3)
Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Renderer: Direct3D 11 (Software)
Interlacing: None
D3D Internal Resolution: Native
Shade Boost disabled
Extra rendering threads: 5
No edge anti-aliasing
-Core GS
Mostly using default settings except I enabled "Wait Loop Detection" in Speedhacks.
I also used the PS2 Lunch system for saving various settings for different games.
