I just downloaded pcsx2 and it will run fine, however there is no sound and I have a 360 controller that i cant seem to get the joysticks to work with any help on either of these issues would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Post the plugins configuration. Telling the machine specs and the game being attempted could help also.
