try changing your spu2-x settings so the output module is DirectSound instead of XAudio2 and see if the crashing persists.

hmm very long time has passed without the problem not sure if it was fixed or not...but we'll see ...i never was able to play this much tho

there is no way to stop the games from slowing down sometimes??...i think with my specs i shouldn't have problems :o

better graphics would be nice too

I had the same problem. If you're having this problem and your sound is sometimes "metallic" or roboty, it may be the SPU2 needs switching.
