Hello everyone, I just installed my new EVGA SC 2GB 650 TI Boost today, as it is a brand new card and I'm sure some people might be interested, if there is any games you want me to test or any benchmarks you want me to run let me know.
The card will help but PS2 emulation is much more focused on cpu power. Although I would like to see some tests on games like Shadow of Colossus or God of War 2 at a high internal resolution Smile

I run God of War 2 @1080p but at 6x Native it lags like hell. Look amazing though.

I'll have to grab those games when I can to test em, but I upgraded from a 630 so the performance is a GIANT leap. Ran Persona 3 FES at 6x with 8x AA at 200 FPS no problem. I'll do shadow of colossus first when I can.
This is the official GPU benchmark, it's a good way to see how your GPU performs compared to the other ones, you don't even need any specific game, just the BIOS.

Thanks for the link, posted my results there.
So I can run Shadow of the Colossus at 2x native with just standard speed hacks on, no EE or VU, at 60 fps, dips to 58 sometimes. 3x Runs it down to 45-50.
Question actually, does your monitor need to support the resolution of 6x native? or does it still show? Smile

The max rendered res is dictated by your GPU, the display res is dictated by your display. 6x native. It's downsampled once it reaches your max display resolution (basically the same as supersampling) Smile
Thanks Asmo ^^

No probs ^.^

In my own personal opinion though, I think quite a lot of PS2 games don't actually scale all that well visually, the sweet spot for gameplay would be about 4x native, with some AA, and/or shaders IMO, these kind of things are always subjective though.
