Sorted the sound, no longer crashes at that point, however now the video clips are glitchy and don't play correctly.

I know there was a fix for it in gsdx settings (windows version).
Dunno if you have it in zzogl, though.

I'm not very familiar with mac port.

OK, I'll struggle through with it, just playing it till they re-release it on PS3

...or on your ps2... It´s still the best way to play it if you're dying to.
