Resolution 512x512 is lower than native, so you logically increase your fps
thats not logical at all. If you use any size but native, the GS plugin has to resize the whole picture, slowing things down, so no its not logical.

I thought lowering the resolution as much as you can could make you gain some FPS. But considering it gives more work to the GS plugin.
