Interesting that they feel the need to illegally rip off GPL'd code but don't bother to contribute back by throwing some documentation/coders to improve it.
This is nothing new though, Nintendo infamously did this with their 'Virtual Console' as well, ripping off open-source projects to emulate their various consoles in software. They COULD hire engineers and coders or they can rip off people that have done the work for them.
Emulation is completely legal, especially if it still requires a separate legal BIOS and your own game files. In fact, PCSX2 is just a shell program (basically) with the end-user needing to provide all the other legitimate parts.
Maybe PCSX2 devs can poke Sony and congratulate them on ripping off a GPL project?
You know the craziest thing? After all the crap that Sony gave hackers for the removal of the PS2 backwards-compatibility and disabling the 'OtherOS' feature, they don't see the sheer utter hypocrisy in ripping off PCSX2 code, do they?
