How come it the game doesn't let me choose my path I want to choose at the begining? Below are my control configs:

Sorry, I meant I press the button my X is set to, but it doesn't say anything. It doesn't let choose my path at the begining, wher eyou choose from the sword, the wand and the shield.
U set cross to num 2
press num lock first on keyboard then try
if not working set it to another keyboard key e.g X for cross

Besides your setup being so weird i'm wondering how you can even play..

You should check if your numlock is off. That would explain why those buttons do not work.
