disgaea just stops then i try to enter calamary woods.
"Sread(1): bg033.tx2" keeps going nonstop on the other window.
is my disgaea version bad or its some other problem?

I have just tested it and it works perfectly.
So either you're using hacks, or the iso you made is bad, or your cd is scratched.
Also, you didn't write the most important info, that is, the verions you're using....
dosn't work with hacks turned off eather, and by verions you mean?

Ah, yes, that is a known bug with that version of Pcsx2 playground. Download the latest beta from our forums here:

That should fix up your crashes.
(make sure you save out to memory card from the old exe if you're using savestates, since the savestates won't be compatible)
