First off 0.9.8 is old and unsupported now, update to at least 1.0.0.

Secondly, have you tried with the original discs?
You must click on "fast boot" in the System tab Smile
Go to cd/dvd tab.
Select iso,then iso browser
& browse to u'r game
select it & in system tab click on fast boot !!
If it automatically uses hotswap, it means that at some point you did just that and ticked the box to never ask you again about it, which results in the emulator no longer prompting you if you want to swap or reset. There is a setting to bring that dialog back, but its name eludes me, maybe someone else who knows can fill in that gap.

Or maybe i have no idea what i'm talking about and i'm thinking of a completely different problem, in which case you should explain better Tongue

It says "Hotswapping" when you first insert a game. You are thinking of the dialogue box when swapping to a game while another is runningSmile
