Let's talk about this problem,

most of the times when i want to switch to a new rev but i still want to keep my memory card from the older rev, it almost always says that you have to format it, is there a way to flawlessly copy paste the memory card and make it work?

er... Run a checkdisk, maybe ?
I never had this problem.

And are you sure you are placing the cards in the correct place.
Do you have file named portable.ini in the working pcsx2 directory and just to be sure,start pcsx2=>Config=>Memory Cards=>check if the path is where you place the old card when you start the new pcsx2 rev is correct
