Hi, I'm going to buy a new computer and I want to know if my PSU is enough.
Here's my rig:
-AMD FX-8320 4.00 GHz
-Asus M5A78L-M LE
-Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 2GB
-Transcend Jetram 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
-Toshiba 1 TB SATA III DT01ACA100 3.5" 7200 RPM 32MB
The PSU itself:
-Corsair VS550W

The PSU is fine, but that motherboard...actually doesn't even support your CPU

I'd truly consider something better.

I simply had a bad experience with an Asus motherboard and I don't want to risk it anymore, that's all. That's why I said "i don't like" instead of "Asus sucks", I know that many people use them without problems, and if I can I simply suggest a different brand.
I don't like to write off any major brand because of a bad experience, as every brand can still cause you to have bad ones. Some just have high frequencies that cannot be determined from only one experience. I'm not disagreeing with you because I've done the exact same thing before, and repsect your opinion. In my eyes, Asus is one of the forerunners in the mobo game, and have some of the best mobos and other devices out there!
Personally, 550w does not sound like enough to me. I always buy way more watts than needed just to be safe, and I suggest you to do the same. Nothings worse than building the rig of your dreams only to find out that you can't play games because they pull too much power.
Again, I'm not saying "Asus sucks" i just avoid suggesting it if I can, that's all, and I can't see any problem saying that I don't like it.
I wasn't trying to say you were, sorry!
One time I bought an asus motherboard... it didn't work at all, bought a gigabyte one and it works fine. I'm just saying that I don't want to use them anymore... not that you shouldn't use them.
