I removed one of the blurs from instructions from this thread

http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Disgaea-2...ondary-one

But I have yet to find anything online on a way to remove the secondary blur that occurs during menus or during cutscenes, where nothing is moving..

Does anyone know how to remove it?
I can not fully understand about the linked thread because my lack of English skill.

Although I have noticed the below post on the liked thread.

No noticeable blur anywhere.

If you have tryed below codes

20453F59 FF
20453F5A FF
20453F5B FF

(more exactly writting)

20453F59 000000FF (453F59:FF, 453F5A:00, 453F5B:00, 453F5C:00)
20453F5A 000000FF (453F5A:FF, 453F5B:00, 453F5C:00, 453F5D:00)
20453F5B 000000FF (453F5B:FF, 453F5C:00, 453F5D:00, 453F5E:00)

453F5C, 453F5D, 453F5E are filled with 00 because effect of last "20453F5B FF" (= "20453F5B 000000FF").

below codes exactly filled only these three bytes.

00453F59 FF (453F59:FF)
00453F5A FF (453F5A:FF)
00453F5B FF (453F5B:FF)

The meaning of the first byte of cheat code is a command but not address.
The meaning of "2" cheat code is 4 bytes writing command.
The meaning of "1" cheat code is 2 bytes writing command.
The meaning of "0" cheat code is 1 byte writing command.

xYYYYYYY ZZZZZZZZ

x Command
Y Address
Z Data

I have no idea effect of "453F5C, 453F5D, 453F5E are filled with 00" on this game particularly blur problem.
Although I want to notice you these diffrences.

I'm sorry if you have already known these diffrences.

Is there anyway to put this in a .pnach file? I don't know much about using cheat engine and what not, but if possible to put it into a pnach file that would be greatly appreciated

Hmm, put it in the pnach file and I don't see any changes whenever I enter the menus, still blurry.
This time, what all I know is only about cheat code meaning. :-)
Sorry, I couldn't help you.

Nah, I saw no differences in the blur from hardware and software rendering
The blur is meant to be there, people just want to remove it because they don't like it Smile
