Would PCSX2 work? Yeah, it would launch and you could boot into a game maybe... But hardly anything would be emulated at anything even close to a playable speed. Maybe a few rare 2D games, and that's a big maybe .
You'd need to basically build a new rig from scratch to upgrade your processor... This would include a new Motherboard, a new CPU, new RAM, a new GPU and undoubtedly a new power supply as well.
