I've had slowdowns on my last laptop which was a dual-core 2.8ghz with geforce 9800m gts with this game. But now that I bought an Alienware 14 laptop brand new I can run games very well and I thought this game would run better. Heres my specs.
CPU -- i7 4700mq
GPU -- GT 750M 1GB DDR5
RAM -- 8GB
These specs are very good and the cpu can be overclocked if the program only using on to three cores, as far as 3.37ghz I've seen.
Castlevania runs at a constant speed of 60 fps, but in certain areas I can tell that even though it show 60 fps it has slowdowns. Like minor frameskips that can be noticable. I've tried working with different settings but nothing seems to take those slowdowns away. This is annoying because it runs at full speed and only has slowdowns briefly during running sideways or fighting, or going into different areas. Other games like GTA SA and Black run fine and alot more actions happen in those games. So I'm writing this so that people will know about the issues and maybe find out how to optimize the game. Or maybe give me some advise.
