Not sure what's happening, I've read up on most if the FFX freezes and I haven't found this one, whenever I play the game it loads completely fine, but when I get to the scene after Tidus does the sphere shot and he's hanging onto a collapsing building and he falls, the screen turns white and stays like it, any suggestions please?
If you use an ISO-file it might be corrupt. Just try to redump the iso using imgburn.
If you used Savestates try to load the game not by using these states but by the internal save/load option of the game.
Avoid pnach cheats with this game. They cause all sorts of problems, including freezing. I posted my own thread over 2 years ago about this.
If problems still occur post the emulog during the freezing.
