It really depends on the games you would want to play.

To really play most games well, you are gonna need to spend USD 1000 or more on a laptop.

i minimum of i5-4330M and any mid-range ATi card will do the trick
but stay away from i3,i7 and all Intel laptop CPU w/ a "U" suffix.
and you as mention above you need to spend stiffer above 1000 prior for gaming laptop.

another words get laptop for mobility only, if you gona game your better of buying a desktop and pay way less for something that would work
