I read on here that you shouldn't use a Laptop because it might overheat but that was in 2009! Can this Lenovo run it? Unsure
It won't run that well, plus the cooling probably isn't very good.
It will run it, but not too well.

For a laptop to run PCSX2 well, you need to be spending about a grand, unfortunately.

I agree.
A quad-core is a must, dual-cores are simply clocked way too low for PCSX2. Unfortunately even though Intel IGPs are pretty good now, they are make emulation slower mainly because of low bandwidth but also as they cause extra heat on the CPU lowering the Turbo Boost.
Depends on what you are going to play. My AMD A8 3500M 1.5 Ghz can run most games I've tried and even some demanding ones with speedhacks, and the A-10 5750M in that laptop is supposedly around 50% faster according to some benchmarks I checked. It's also "semi" quad core, so you'll get speed boosts from using the MTVU hack like I do. The integrated APU graphics card should be enough for the emulator too.

If you're going to be using the laptop for something else besides gaming, why not, I think it'd do a decent job at Pcsx2 if you don't push the settings too hard.
