Omg...I thought that could be the problem too. But I don't have the DVD here with me...*sigh*

Anyway thanks for the replies. I'll post again after I rip the image and see how it work.

log4cplus:ERROR Please initialize the log4cplus system properly.

Never seen this error before.
Are your drivers/directx/VC runtimes up to date?
Try using the latest stable version (1.0) or newest SVN

I really want to play this game at my free time..so I don't bother with anything else. And this thing made me just darn frustrated. Sad

why did you name idt like this ?
did you aplpy some english voice patch on it ?
I just copy and paste the title in a rush from a text. Nevertheless it still stuck at the same spot. Heck, it doesn't happen with my PC. It's just that this laptop though...
you mean the exact same iso file crashes on your laptop, not on your desktop ?
what if you try the original physical DVD on your Laptop ?
Sorry about the rerip-hint it was completely unreasonable...

If it works on your desktop it is probable that this is a software issue...
I would check driver and directx.

Have you tried software-mode (F9)?
Or Maybe using one of the Null-plugins as Null(Null) during this scene (while you still can hear the sound) and by this skipping the video.
