Yeah, I lurked quite awhile just looking at setups and compat list for advice on setups. 4X is just fine, no slowdown but I knew the game was demanding. Well, I think I'll go burn off 2 and 3 and see how they do. I beat 2 on my ps2 but I never finished 3.
