Hello,

So i use an SSD drive for my os and some other HDD drives for storage.

When i start pcsx2 one of the storage had drives just disappears, is not listed under disk management anymore and is inaccessible.

When i reboot my pc the drive is listed and accessable again.

Anyone else had this problem before or knows a fix for it?

Thnx!

~Necht
That's a new one. However PCSX2 should not directly cause this as PCSX2 does not mess with device drivers or anything like that in any way. We only read files like any other application on your computer would.

You might wanna do a virus scan.
All my drived are scanned daily with webroot secure anywhere.

Nothing has popped up.

Also it only occurs when i launch pcsx2 and happens instantly.
So it must be linked to it in some way i would guess. :s
try changing the cdvd plugin to something else like CDVDNull or LinuzIso

it might be something to do with your drives power saving stand by mode

i have win 7 and one of my mechanical drives does a similar thing, but never with pcsx2,

sometimes these problems solve themselves with an update from windows Smile

recently my drives weren't waking up when i shut down the pc, which then would lockup and need a hard reset, but that seems to not happen anymore after a recent update Smile

look through your windows error report:

i'e windows key, then Accessories, then System Tools, then System Information, then whilst in that window go down to software Environment then down to Windows Error Reporting, and click on that, look for the time it disappears and it might give you a clue as to what is happening

the above method may be slightly different on your pc Blush

anyways good luck
