So, just downloaded the latest 1.2.1 and I am now unable to increase my internal resolution, it stays at 512x448 no matter what settings I have in Video Plugin Settings. I've tried native, custom, native x. Changing it to fullscreen doesnt make a difference either. I've got my window size to 1600x900 so I am trying to match the custom resolution.

Current settings/jaggies at 512x448:

The top bar will just tell you the native resolution of the game. It doesn't mean the game isn't being upscaled.
people is becoming so bond to numbers that is losing the ability to "see".
but how does that explain when I change it to 1920x1080 it stays the same? If I check native it looks just as good, look how jaggy it is. edge AA and FXAA dont change the look either

Get in game it will look better.

Same quality, blurry and jaggy. I can also get a comparison of 1.1 vs 1.2.1 where my old 1.1 looks better cause the upscaling is actually working on it

Did you by chance hit f9?

No, tried pressing it and it made it worse.

Then if it's worse it is being upscaled. You can try msaa under hw hacks in the gsdx config.

So, i guess when I tick native it's not working, but it is being upscaled quite a bit, still odd that I cant make it look better than this. Tried MSAA and doesnt change the look at all.
