I don't understand it. I've seen people with weaker PC's than me emulate Midnight Club 3 perfectly, but when I try to run it I goes into slow motion (in-game, when in high stress areas, which is most of San Diego's areas... near the sea or in alleyways where there isn't any traffic, the game seems to run and sound normal).

PC Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-661 3.33 GHz (no overclock or anything like that)
RAM: 8GB DDR3
Motherboard: Intel DP55WB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 550 Ti (1GB VRAM, DirectX 11)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Drivers up to date, and I like to think I keep a clean house.

I'm currently using the default PCSX2 settings. I tried enabling Speed Hack (all possible combinations) and disabling the Frame Limiter. Graphics got glitchy but otherwise nothing changed.

Emulator: PCSX2 1.2.1 (r5875)

Plugin:

(tried changing Adapter to my GPU, no change)

Help :C

What version of the emulator are you using?

Forgot to add that, PCSX2 1.2.1 (r5875).
Your cpu isn't that fast. The people that are getting better results are actually just using the internal recorder. When the captured video is played back it will be at full speed even though the game was running much slower.

This also happens to be one of the really demanding games.
What are your EE and GS percentages when a slowdown occurs? It's shown in the title bar when in windowed mode.

EE: 68% - 79%
GS: 90% -99%

Bad?

Oh I'm not expecting it to run perfectly, but mine is just unplayable...

Very bad, your cpu and gpu are too weak by the looks of it.

CPU is pretty weak although it got the job done so far, but even though I'm aware that this GPU was mid-range at the time I got it, I haven't had any problems running graphics intensive games games on it yet (maximum / high graphics). Something's not right...

I'm aware of that, but I've seen people with weaker PC's running the game decently if not perfectly. I don't know what recording software or hardware they were using but I doubt it somehow made their games run like that :/ I don't see how they'd have managed to record gameplay if their game was unplayable like it is for me...

Pcsx2 is way more demanding than pc games. You will need a faster pc

They managed to record gameplay by being very patient. Hit f12 if you don't believe me
