pop your PS2 dvd in and give a try.
AFAIK, it should be .
I get 30-40 FPS on my 1.9Ghz dual core laptop (with 2x native resolution) so I think your 2.8Ghz dual core should be just fine.

That means nothing? Intel or AMD? What architecture?

Old underclocked AMD Athlon.
I believe its this one

But the point is, Im fairly sure OP's processor can easily outperform mine. I dont even use my laptop for emulation so I dont need advices about it
Thewonderboy as you get 30-40 fps is it enough when emulating on pcsx2 ?

30-40 is bare minimum "playable" but its still annoyingly slow.
Though Im guessing your CPU should be able to give you 60 FPS.

30-40 FPS is not good for a fighting game. Could get very annoying.
