Full Version: Gpu power have an effect in performance

Just to say :
I changed between gtx460 and gtx780, there is little improvement in the resolution, I stay perfect on x2 with a 460, I can go x5 on the gtx780.
Maybe its only the bandwith of the vram that improve the emulator, btw it still count.
So if you want to reach high res, run with a 384bit card or more, I feel the rest is depending on your cpu power, its difficult to play prefect in all games with less than a sandy i3.

Yes we know it affects performance. Mainly when upscaling through.

You are right about the bandwidth but you really don't need 384bit.

I get 3x on most games and my card is 192bit.
Whats the point of this thread? Pcsx2 runs better on beter hardware...O RLY?
