..:: PCSX2 Forums ::.. - issues with cheat 1.2.1

so i'm using PCSX2 1.2.1 (r5875) and i can not do any cheats. i have enabled them and i have followed every single thing about how to do them. i'm playing kingdom hearts ((the first one) and can't get the cheats to work. here is the current one i have.

gametitle=Kingdom Hearts (NTSC-U) [SLUS-20370]
//Freeze your health to 72
patch=1,EE,00524094,word,00000048
//Set the boss health to 0 so one hit and he's dead
patch=1,EE,10524340,word,00000000

this cheat was brought directly out of a post on this site and still doesnt work. i created a folder "cheats" and there is another folder theere too "cheats_ws" that was already there. i have placed the pnach file in both just in case. but still no cheats are enabled. i have changed word to extended as well. any ideas or am i doing somthing wrong?

edit: also the file name for pnach is 0F6B6315.pnach.

have u enabled 'enable cheats' in the menus?

does anything related to cheats show up in your emulog.txt?

Well i am sorry new to this thing what would it look like. Sorry for not knowing

click on misc. on the top of the pcsx2 programme when launched. a menu will be shown containing a word console. if u see a tick mark beside it u must have it enabled. see that theere is another window which contains your system specs etc. it is called the emulog. start playing the game in windowed mode. and watch the texts that appear on the window. look for something like 'cheats loaded' etc.
alternatively u can go to pcsx2 folder and then to the logs folder within it. after playing the game go to the logs and u can see a file named emulog.txt. just post it here.

im looking lots of stuff in there. ive never seen anything like it but ill do a crtl f in word after copy

tried those too and they don't work. just freezes and then takes me back to the mem cards and disk (bios)

Maybe he doesn't own one or the other. Plus, I don't think it works on pcsx2.

@OP : post your .pnach file content, please.
Edit : or what you posted in the OP is the full content of your pnach ? If so, please post the emulog.txt
