So called ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Remakes for PS3 are nothing special: They don't have any remastered HD textures or hi-poly 3D models... They are just the same PS2 games with higher screen resolution and same textures/models... Nothing you can't do with the PCSX2 Emulator...
Don't forget to select FullHD resolution after you start the video:
I took these comparison shots long ago and I think they showcase exactly what I hate about remakes. They're not like the originals. I'll always prefer to play Ico on my PS2 with the loud CD drive on a small tube TV. If that's not possible I will emulate it, but I will never buy an "upgraded" version.
Finally got everything up and running, here is some gameplay footage of my all time favorite RPG of all time Dark Chronicle running on my new gaming PC:
i am pleased to report that nfsu2[PAL] is fully playable in 1080 WITHOUT speedhacks! (barely)
playing without speedhacks only with a 4.1ghz quad core
(going to overclock to about 4.250ghz now)
Finally i completed fatal frame 2 crimson butterfly on the emu at full fps with negligible
shadow glitches.......It was awesome....+1 to the dev team.......And the members too
should try this game ....Its awesome and scary and make u jump out of your seats,,,.......

It's difficult for me to explain the steps on how i got the game to work. there are really no set settings. i just kept messing around with the vu1 and speed hacks to get pass the intro, menus, and fmv's. Once i did and got ingame, it plays fine. I just don't know if it's worth getting frustrated in getting to that point. Plus you have to use save and load states all the time. It really is a pain. It's satisfying that i can play, but i just don't know if i can illustrate in words what to do. you just kinda need to fiddle on your own. i will say this. to get past the opening, you need to have MTVU hack enabled. then once you get to the main menu, you have to disable it. also very important is that you save the state once you get in the menu.
i attached a file that shows the speed hack settings. this is when in game. now to get passed the intro, you need to enable MTVU hack. then as soon as the 2k logo comes on, you have to disable it because it will cause the game to hang. you should now be in the menu and with these settings, you should be able to play. also important is to have vu1 clamping set to none
