Plays just fine ingame, with average-ish (just about playable) speed using speedhacks, but that's because my PC is pretty subpar. Looks awesome in the emulator though with very little glitches so far (even though it lacks mipmapping, it seems it isn't used as widely as in Ape Escape 2). Only the movies suffer from some weird gridlike pattern issue that's also present in Ape Escape 2, and I also got them to hang in a black screen a few times, but I managed to skip them by just pressing start.
