Oh Okay I see now, you mean those FAT vertical lines. I was looking for thin ones. Hmmm.

Try in software mode? Press F9 while playing.

i know software fixes this issue but the game looks ugly in software mode (✖╭╮✖)

im asking because the wiki said this problem is fixed by enabling alpha hack but it doesnt work for me

Well, did you make sure to tick Enable HW hacks as well as Alpha hack?

If so, that's all I know to tell you. I read a few threads around here and the only answer I see is software mode. I do not have this game personally to test.

I had this, but the wiki advice fixed it for me. It still was highly glitched as certain places, like Lost Forest. You have two things to try :
1 - try enabling ALL the hacks wiki says.
2 - find a special Gsdx plugin that has "VP2 fix", it plays the entire game with little or no trouble even without hacks. Great plugin, that, i recommend it highly if you actually want to finish VP2.

I can't find that plugin with Google. But hey if you can, by all means use it. Just note that:

Unofficial builds aren't supported.

So please don't ask any support questions on that plugin!

im using pcsx2 official build 1.2.1 and have enabled all the hacks the wiki say (HW alpha hack) but it didnt work

of course i tried with many other hacks but result was the same
