Full Version: Any one able to run Kessen 2 and full speed?

I actually had to turn speed hacks down for soul caliber 3 because it was running too fast, so that is odd. Ah well. Anything you think I can try short of replacing the CPU? I suppose I could look into overclocking, but I make my living off of my PC and to me overclocking always meant "More risk to burn out your computer without a good cooling system"
Well, it's unlikely you will burn out your CPU, but if your cooling is inadequate you will throttle so much that any gains you will see will be offset. If you are using the cooler that came with the chip then you might get to 3.6 or so but that is probably it.
oh well... I suppose the Let's play shall just have to wait until I have a better processor.

An FX6300 would be a good upgrade if you don't wish to change boards. You would get a 15 - 20% boost in performance at the same clock speed.
